Active Aging Week challenges society’s diminished expectations of aging by showing that, regardless of age or health conditions, adults over 50 can live as fully as possible in all areas of life—physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational and environmental. The objective of the annual health-promotion event is to give as many older adults as possible the means to experience wellness activities and physical and mental exercise in a safe, supportive environment.
The Pauline Haass Public Library is partnering with the Village of Sussex to provide special programs during Active Aging Week, October 2-6, 2017.
Registration through the Sussex Recreation Department is requested for these events. Register for programs in person at the Sussex Civic Center or Register Online using the program numbers listed below!
