February is “Love Your Library” month! In this presentation by Tomi Tay Forbes, learn about a time when communities were building libraries for public use throughout the country. Andrew Carnegie donated funds for the construction of 1,689 libraries across America.
The Friends of the Pauline Haass Library sponsor programs in support of the library’s mission of connecting area residents to ideas, information and one another in a vibrant, welcoming environment. All programs are free, approximately one hour in length, and are held in the Quad/Graphics Room of the library. No registration required unless indicated. For more information, call the library at 262-246-5180.
